#3 Memories

Why is our brain tend to remember all of the bad memories? The deep dark moments that if you ever got the chance to reborn, you would never go to that phase of your life.

But honestly, why is that we tend to be reminded of those bad memories? What happened to the good ones? Does it not affect us as much as the bad ones did? Does happy memories are just there to make us feel better?

I mean, why cant we remember those moments where you've been craving for ice cream for months and finally your craving is fulfilled, those few seconds of intense happiness before your craving is fulfilled. Or those few seconds before you go on stage to receive an award. Or anything. Does these moments doesn't affect us so deeply that it doesn't worth remembering for?

I was so frustrated that my brain only has info of my bad memories, and it was so detailed to the point I can retell the story from A to Z, and what makes it crazier is that it happened like 10 to 8 year ago.

What I'm trying to say here is that, JUST LIVE EVERY MOMENT. You won't even remember what happened, or when or how. If it means something to you, if it affects you so deeply, there's high chance that you'll remember it. But most of the time, you won't. So grab every opportunities that life provides you with. Be brave, have courage. People will eventually forgets you & they won't even remember that you fell from the stage stage or you spilled the mee kuah at canteen, they don't care.

Trust me, people are a lot less judgemental than they seemed they are. So just live your life, be happy, cherish yourself, improve your self-esteem. Make as many experience as you could, at least there's something you can tell your children or your grandchildren later.

It would be a lie if there's no regret in life & that you'd fix things if you got the chance to do so. But, hey, there's always tomorrow right?
