Diploma in Public Administration (DPA)? What is it about?      If you're reading this post, I assume that your parents/teachers/friends told you to fill Diploma in Public Administration in your UPU list, but you have no idea at all what this course is all about!       But dont worry, I'm writing here to tell you what DPA is; what you should expect, what you will be learning, the subjects, how to score, job offers, etc.       I totally understand if you feel confused or reluctant to take this course, because I was once like you! Yeap, I was a DPA student at UiTM Kedah and I have successfully graduated!       When I was 18, my father told me to fill Diploma in Public Administration in my UPU list. I had no idea what DPA was, in fact I had never heard about it before. I truly did not want to take this course at all, i even prayed "j angan lah dapat course ni, tak famous langsung! tolong lah tak dapat ". The...

#4 UiTM Law Interview Tips

Image
Got shortlisted for Bachelor in Law Interview but you are not a law student? You are a diploma student from a completely different field, or you are a matriks or stpm student. And honestly, what to expect from this interview?          Fret not, I was once in a same situation; confused and clueless. Most of the law interview tips were written by a law student, that has a law background, and studied legal terms, and has law lecturers that were, probably, once the interviewer themselves.           But I was not a law student, I studied Diploma in Public Administration and throughout my 3 years of studying, there are only 3 law subjects and the topics were quite general and basic. And during my final year I applied Bachelor in Law for UPU, and somehow got shortlisted, I was thankful and anxious honestly.                    If you are reading thi...

#3 Memories

Why is our brain tend to remember all of the bad memories? The deep dark moments that if you ever got the chance to reborn, you would never go to that phase of your life. But honestly, why is that we tend to be reminded of those bad memories? What happened to the good ones? Does it not affect us as much as the bad ones did? Does happy memories are just there to make us feel better?  I mean, why cant we remember those moments where you've been craving for ice cream for months and finally your craving is fulfilled, those few seconds of intense happiness before your craving is fulfilled. Or those few seconds before you go on stage to receive an award. Or anything. Does these moments doesn't affect us so deeply that it doesn't worth remembering for?  I was so frustrated that my brain only has info of my bad memories, and it was so detailed to the point I can retell the story from A to Z, and what makes it crazier is that it happened like 10 to 8 year ago.  Wha...

#1 Kindness

With everything that has been going on, I would like to emphasis on kindness. Especially now during the virus outbreak, stop thinking that the world only evolves around you. Be kind with everyone, be gentle with others, have some common sense. Others are struggling as well, others are thinking about their fate, others are thinking about their future possibility. The least we can do now is to just be kind. It takes zero ringgit and zero energy to spread positivity, elevate and uphold others. Just like the saying goes, if you don't have nice things to say then just keep it to yourself. Its called empathy and tolerance, in which we as a member of society is lacking. The word kindness itself is general & can be many things at once, but we as an individual has a say on how we wanted to interpret kindness-- it can be as simple as greeting "Have a nice day!", a thank you, smiling to others, buying that karipap or nasi lemak on the side of road --to just make someone'...
